911 Dialing
We offer 911 emergency dialing. However, there are several important
differences between our Emergency Service dialing and traditional 911 dialing:
911 Dialing is NOT automatic
If you dial 911 using eGIX eNCOMPASS service, you MUST immediately tell the
dispatcher your location (or location of the emergency, if different).
SERVICE OUTAGE WARNING: 911
dialing and our service
DO NOT function during an
electrical power or broadband provider outage.
