Automatic Callback (*69)
Automatic Call Back allows you to retrieve the number, time and date of your last incoming call.
(Use Repeat Dialing to return the last call you made.)
Return the Last Call You Received
Dial *69 (or 1169 on a rotary phone)
The phone number, time & date of your last missed call will be voiced back to you
Press 1 to connect, or just hang up
When you connect, if the line is busy, you will hear a message informing you the line is
busy. If the number becomes free in the next 30 minutes, your phone will ring you back
with a special ring. When you pick up the line, you will be put through to the party you
called.
NOTE: You may still make and receive calls during this callback period, however, Automatic Callback will ring back only if your line is free. The number may or may not be
provided and exist in an area not served by Automatic Callback. A recorded message will tell you that your call cannot be completed. For all calls
placed using this service, local and long-distance charges may apply. For long-distance carrier must also be equipped with this technology for
long-distance numbers outside your service area.
